About Khiara

Founder, Comprehensive Pilates Instructor + Strength Coach

I'm Khiara, founder of HER FORM STUDIO and a Comprehensive Pilates Instructor with specialized training in pre- and postnatal movement.

I created Her Form around a belief that has become increasingly important to me: women deserve movement that considers the whole woman.

Our bodies change. Our lives change. Our capacity, goals, and needs change. Yet so much of fitness is built around doing more, pushing harder, or following programs that expect our bodies and lives to remain exactly the same.

I wanted to build something different.

My approach brings together Pilates, functional strength, mobility, and recovery to help women move well, build meaningful strength, and create a movement practice that can evolve with them through different seasons of life.

My own experience with motherhood helped deepen my understanding of just how much a woman's relationship with her body can change—and how important it is to have movement that can meet her there. That experience continues to inform my work, alongside specialized training in pre- and postnatal movement, but Her Form was built for the whole of a woman's life, not just one chapter of it.

As a comprehensively trained Pilates instructor, my education spans mat and the full Pilates apparatus, including Reformer, Tower/Cadillac, Chair, and Ladder Barrel. I bring that foundation into Her Form's programming alongside functional strength training to create movement that is thoughtful, progressive, and grounded in how the body actually moves.

Outside the studio, I've spent more than a decade building my career in healthcare operations and currently serve as a Vice President of Operations. That background has shaped the way I approach Her Form, too: with intention, curiosity, a respect for evidence, and the belief that good systems should support real people and real lives.

I'm also deeply aware of the importance of representation in movement spaces. As Her Form grows, I'm committed to building a brand where women across backgrounds, bodies, experiences, and seasons can see themselves reflected—and feel that they belong.

Because ultimately, I'm not interested in helping women chase one version of their bodies.

I want to help women build strength they can carry with them.

Through the season they're in now. And whatever comes next.
